Solutions

Protect It

Product Protection is important, especially for consumer products. Through working with your Engineering Team, we will help select the right material and design to best protect your product. From foam, nonwovens to films, we can Protect It!

Seal It

Are you using the right material, and process to seal your product?

Sealing can be a challenge as there are a few variables to consider. We ask the right questions to provide you with the right, custom solution.

  • Are we protecting from air, dust, water?
  • Will it be exposed to harsh chemicals?
  • Will UV be a concern?
  • Will the gasket/seal be compressed?
  • What are the temperature requirements?

Cutting, Extruding and Molding of light flexible materials are processes we use to meet your design needs, and Seal It!

Insulate It

Are you using the right material to thermally insulate your product?

We work with a wide variety of materials to meet and/or exceed your Thermal Conductivity needs. By asking great questions, we get great answers. The information we’ve learned, creates a path to cost effective unique solutions. From Foam Tubes to Cut Nonwoven Parts, we can Insulate It.

Stick It

Finding the right adhesive to stick to the many different substrates in the world can be difficult.  Carolina Custom Products uses 50 years of industry knowledge to recommend an acrylic, rubber or silicone based adhesive system.  The different types of substrates in the world demand certain adhesive properties as to get a good “wet out”, otherwise known as a “bond”.

Mute It

Determining how to reduce noise often involves multiple materials and methods.  Whether it be sound absorption, sound reflection, mass dampening, decoupling or vibration isolation Carolina Custom Products can help.

Providing:

  • Acoustical foams designed for high sound absorption with minimum weight and thickness.
  • High density vinyl-based materials for vibration damping.
  • Barrier materials combining dense barriers with open cell foams to provide a noise control system.
  • Faced foams and nonwovens for acoustical and thermal reflection.

Experienced in fabrication of custom size acoustical backings for sound absorption or reflection, mass damping and vibration isolation. We are here to assist.
